Networked Analysis of a Teaching Unit for Primary School Symmetries in the Form of an E-Book

In mathematics education, technology offers many opportunities to enrich curricular contents. Plane symmetries is a topic often skipped by primary teachers. However, it is important and may be worked in attractive ways in dynamic geometry software environments. In any regular classroom there are students with different levels of mathematical attainment, some needing easy tasks while others, particularly mathematically-gifted students, need challenging problems. This paper examines the influence of the loss of reference points for the digital readout in user interaction. This has been done using 5 eBooks from different disciplines, accessed through various consultation platforms. We have examined different aspects of the information architecture of these sites to find out if users are aware of their location in the text during reading and maintaining control to scroll through it. The digitized curriculum: voices and silences in the publishing field

En este artículo se analiza la posición, de algunas de las editoriales presentes en la Comunidad Valenciana, sobre la migración hacia formatos digitales del libro de texto utilizado en centros educativos de niveles no universitarios. Con una metodología mixta se estudian tres dimensiones implicadas en el proceso: la estrategia tecnológica, la pedagógica y la comercial mediante una serie de entrevistas, encuestas, grupos de discusión y análisis de documentos.
